Antique Black Velvet Dalmatic Vestmentstole Maniple

After a 10-day auction, this item is up for re-auction due to an overseas winning bidder. Per description, i can ship ot the usa/lower 48 states only. This auction is for what i believe to be a turn of the last century black velvet religious/roman catholic dalmatic vestment. This is definitely not my area of expertise, but as i understand, this is not a chasuble but is referred to as a dalmatic the outer liturgical vestment of the deacon. I will provide the best description possible.

Included with the dalmatic vestment is the stole and two matching maniples, all with 1 3/4 long metallic gold fringe. hTis is a beautiful and somewhat stiff/heavy piece with exquisite metallic gold thread floral/embroidery and trim work. The wide sleeves draping from the shoulder are slit on the underside.

The interior lining is in excelelnt condition, so very nice that it could be a replacement lining to the original. Update i have been advised that the lining si original. I find the overall condition to be very nice showing only minor wear from usage and age. I observed that very minor ravelling/threading on one sleeve at the tips of the narrow metalic gold embroidery see pic.

This vestment/accesories have not been dry cleaned and of course this should be done as this is an estate item and not new! The dalmatic measures apprs. 40 long x 28 1/2 at the bottom the front measures apprx. 40 long x 26 3/4 wide at the btotom the maniple is appr. 35 in total length not including the metallic gold fringe and the stole measures 74 long not including the metallic gold fringe.
